Briefly about the project

This Camaro may have started life in 1967 as just another standard vehicle but after the work we have done it is a performance resto moded Camaro! Jay wanted a vehicle that could be a functional performer which meant updating various systems on the vehicle. We replaced the standard transmission with a 5 speed manual, replaced the old steering system with a power assisted rack and pinion one, replaced the rear end with a custom ordered Ford 9” accompanied with Wilwood disc brakes. We also ditched the old drive belt layout for a modern serpentine belt set up. Along with all the updating we also worked on the vehicle’s electrical system to ensure everything worked properly. As well as work on subtle details such as interior and exterior items.
